Blueberries are ready! June 28 Opening Day

Please remember:

hats, sunscreen, walking shoes, take home containers!

We close the blueberry patch during stormy weather. If a storm approaches, get out of the patch and to the house or your car.

Almost Ready--Picking Reminders

A few important reminders:

We will be Closed on Mondays in 2011 season.

"Closed for Ripening" days will be posted here and also on our telephone answering machine. Check before making a long drive.

Bring "take-home" containers.

Children must remain under direct supervision at all times. Please observe and teach children good berry picking etiquette.

Pick in designated rows in designated spots. Do not wander around picking only the "whopper" berries. :-0

Organized picking prevents loss and gives equal access to the whoppers. Picking partners on opposite sides of bushes works well for clean picking.

No one is allowed in the pond.

No dogs, PLEASE! We love dogs, but not in the blueberry patch.

LOADED

The blueberry bushes are loaded with beautiful green berries! It's a great season with good rain and no late frosts. We are gearing up for a bountiful harvest. Opening day should be around the first of July unless berries ripen earlier. We will post information here.
